Unlike any other yarn produced today, Imperial Stock spins yarns from their flock of Columbia sheep first, and still, breed in the high desert of Oregon. The ranch, in operation since 1871, focuses on sustainable land management practices. Their Columbia 2-ply is spun on an 1860s spinning mule which gives the yarn a soft hand and great character.
